Top Agent Network Marin (sometimes referred to as “TAN”) is a group of Marin County‘s most elite real estate agents. Not any agent can join Top Agent Network — they must submit sales data showing they are in the top 10% of Marin real estate agents. Once allowed into this elite group, agents are able to correspond on buyer needs as well as list “coming soon” homes. In many cases, homes are sold off market via Top Agent Network before they even appear on the open market via the Multiple Listing System.
According to Top Agent Network, studies have shown that 90% of the homes on the market are sold by the top 10% of agents. TAN members exchange market intelligence with other top agents in their area. That means their members are the first to know about not-yet-on-MLS listings, motivated buyers and more.
