Sotheby’s Realty Global Networking Event 2026 | GNE 2026 | San Francisco
Hey y’all! See you in Nashville!
Sotheby’s International Realty Global Networking Event (GNE) returns in 2026 with a milestone celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary and the theme “Fifty years forward.” GNE 2026 will take place October 6–8, 2026 in San Francisco, California at Moscone Center West.
San Francisco is not only the host city this year, it is also part of my day-to-day market. I work with Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty in Marin County. Marin and San Francisco operate as an interconnected luxury market within the broader Bay Area. This year’s event feels especially relevant because it is happening in my home region, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet and reconnect with colleagues from across the global network. Not to mention — the meetings are a lot of fun!
I missed the Nashville event due to the timing of a major listing launch and client commitments, but I will definitely be at GNE 2026. I am looking forward to the conversations, the referral relationships, and the chance to exchange ideas that ultimately help us better serve our clients—whether they are moving across town or across continents.
Over the years, I have always found GNE to be one of the most valuable gatherings in the Sotheby’s International Realty network because it brings the global community together in person. The connections made at GNE often translate into better collaboration, stronger referral pipelines, and a higher level of service for buyers and sellers navigating luxury markets.
At a past GNE, I was humbled and honored to be asked to participate in a social media panel discussion. As a real estate agent in Marin County, California, I have invested significant time into building a strong web and social media presence, and I believe that work benefits both my clients and my colleagues across the network. I am grateful for the relationships that experience created, and I have enjoyed staying connected with so many fellow agents since then.
The Global Networking Event in 2026 will be a great way for Sotheby’s International Realty agents to meet in person and establish connections to benefit our clients. In the meantime, I look forward to connecting with you on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
I look forward to connecting with you in person!

My Local Tips – Stay the Weekend in Marin County
- If you are ok staying outside of the city and taking a 30-minute car service into the venue, I love the luxurious and historic Cavallo Point Lodge at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge on the Marin County side. Rooms start at around $650 a night depending on the time of year and occupancy. This is also a great place to stay if you decide to extend your trip into the weekend!
- A budget-friendly ($250 a night) hotel in Marin with direct ferry access to San Francisco’s Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street is the Courtyard by Mariott at Larkspur Landing. It is located in a low-rise shopping and dining complex and is about a 10-minute easy walk to the Larkspur Ferry which whisks you into the city in a very fast and very beautiful 30 minutes.
- Hike one of the top 10 best hikes in Marin County to check out the beauty that is the bay area. None of these hikes are too long – we have houses to sell!
- If you have clients thinking of moving to Marin County, check out my article to learn about the lifestyle and beauty just minutes north of the city.
Fun Things to Do in San Francisco
- I am going to start with the most obvious. Ride a cable car! There is a reason locals and visitors love the historic cars so much. They are a lot of fun! It’s a great, very unique way to see the city. I guarantee you will be laughing and smiling by the end of your journey.
- San Francisco Museum of Modern Art: An incredible collection just a few minutes walk from the event venue.
- Spend the weekend in wine country. I am partial to Napa as we have a vacation home there, but both Sonoma and Napa are a great weekend escape, with fine dining, luxury hotels and of course world-class wines. Come up to Yountville and dine at the renowned Thomas Keller restaurants including The French Laundry, Bouchon, and Ad Hoc, which has the best fried chicken I have had anywhere. Local tip: Perry’s (former dive bar) just re-opened in Yountville is a great place to get some local flavor.
- Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge then enjoy the view at the new Tunnel Tops park. It is usually easier to park at the Vista Point parking lot on the north side of the bridge and walk back. An amazing view and experience. Read more about Golden Gate Bridge parking here.

Good afternoon, Thomas,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Justin Wise, and I work for Constellation Brands representing our fine wine and craft spirits portfolio, specifically within our Corporate Gifting and Concierge division. I saw a video recapping the Nashville event and it looked like a blast, like an educational Coachella experience for real estate agents. I would love to get our foot in the door – think activation, sampling booth build out – a live tasting demo, custom curated homeowner welcome gifts – anything we could sponsor! Part of the portfolio that I represent is a Paso Robles property called Booker Estates, who also produces wines under the My Favorite Neighbor and Harvey and Harriet labels. I would love to chat with you to discuss any value adds that we could contribute to this event. Have a great day. Justin
We have a great portfolio of luxury brands I am happy to discuss.
