Perfect for beach/nature lovers and surfers.

This unique property offers many opportunities for prospective buyers including continuing long-term rentals for all 5 units, converting to a short-term vacation rental model, utilizing one or more units as an owner’s unit or converting the entire property into a family compound.

The current owners have invested approximately $200,000 in improvements (see list below)  since their purchase in 2015 including a completely new roof in 2019 and new exterior paint in 2020. All five units are currently rented, with four of them utilizing month-to-month leases. Tenant turn-over has been very low since the owner’s purchase. All five units have dedicated parking and four units enjoy private fenced gardens.

More About Salmon Creek & Bodega Bay

Salmon Creek is a quaint neighborhood on the northern end of Bodega Bay, and consists of vintage homes and beach bungalows adjacent to picturesque Salmon Creek and abutting Salmon Creek State Beach. Access to the Pacific Ocean and miles of sandy beaches are just beyond the nearby sand dunes.

Bodega Bay is located about 40 miles northwest of San Francisco and has a population of about 1000. This tranquil seaside village features a diverse population of retirees, fishermen, artists, and others attracted to the beauty and serenity of this special part of the Sonoma Coast.

The housing stock is as diverse as the population, from the high-end golf course community of Bodega Harbour on the southern end of Bodega Bay to the larger lots and pastoral feeling of Sereno del Mar, seven minutes to the north.

Residents enjoy a wide range of dining and shopping activities, including Pelican Plaza for deli and grocery items, Michelin-star-rated Terrapin Creek Cafe, Drakes Sonoma Coast Kitchen, and Spud Point Crab Company. Locals are proud of their claim to fame — Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” was filmed in Bodega Bay and the nearby town of Bodega.

I was fortunate to own a home in Bodega Bay for 10 years and was always amazed at the beauty of this part of the California Coast.
