Le Comptoir Menu April 2018

My favorite meal starts with wine recommended by Stephen the owner, followed by the Lightly Fried Camembert, and the Tuna Mi-Cuit, with a pasta course to share of the incredibly decadent Ravioles de Royans (with extra aged cheese on top), and then main courses of the Roasted Free-Range Half-Chicken (order extra crispy!), the Beef Cheeks Bourguignon  (off the menu for the moment) or the Flat-Iron Steak.

After experiencing all of their wonderful desserts, I now always return to my favorite, the Profiteroles. I will snap a photo of the dessert menu next time I’m at Le Comptoir and include it here. In the meantime, order the Profiteroles or the Hazelnut Chocolate Tart and you will be very happy.

One final recommendation: I strongly suggest you make reservations — they are often full even on Monday nights. You can reach them at 415-454-5454.
