Marin County, California:
Real Estate, Lifestyle, and Living
This video captures the lifestyle and beauty that make Marin County such a wonderful place to live.
Marin County is located just north of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and is widely regarded as one of the most desirable places to live in the Bay Area. Known for its natural beauty, outdoor lifestyle, and strong sense of community, Marin offers a rare balance of proximity to the city and access to open space, trails, and coastline.
I moved from San Francisco to Marin County in the 1990s and have lived and worked here ever since. Like many who choose Marin, I was drawn by the scenery, the warmer microclimates, the hiking and biking trails, and the distinct character of Marin’s towns and neighborhoods — each with its own feel and lifestyle.
Marin County is the birthplace of mountain biking, and cycling is still very popular here. Downtown San Anselmo is pictured above.
